Chinna Rasalu Mango – How to Check & Eat 🥭
Don’t wait for yellow! Chinna Rasalu stays green even when ripe.
Ready to eat if:
Smells sweet at the stem
Gives slightly when you press near the stem
Skin has 1-2 tiny wrinkles near top
Not ready yet?
Hard + no smell = Keep outside in a rice bag for 1-2 days
Don’t refrigerate raw mangoes. They won’t ripen.
Too late?
Very soft + fermented smell = Use for juice/milkshake
Tip: Tastes best when skin is still greenish with light yellow.
If it turns full yellow, eat immediately!
